The Story
What’s the story behind Vita Longa Holiday Home?
It’s the story of a Georgian-Greek-Lithuanian family! Arriving at Vita Longa you will be met by host Karolina – whose ancestors were Ponto Greeks who immigrated to Georgia long ago and lived in the village.
Karolina's grandfather, Lithuanian Vytautas Baranauskas, married a beautiful Greek woman born in Georgia and then visited his wife Luisa Baranauskiene's homeland for years. Vytautas was an engineer-builder. He realized his dream to build a beautiful house in Tsikhisjvari, in which he invested a lot of material and spiritual resources. This is how the history of three countries: Georgia, Greece, and Lithuania were harmoniously combined within one family.
Now the home is called Vita Longa and is waiting to host you. Together with more fascinating stories.
